Better than me

I wrote this one a little bit ago, and I’m actually like super proud of it so please appreciate it because I love it a lot. Also, RECORDINGS! I sat down and finally recorded stuff for some of the backed up songs I haven’t gotten around to recording for yet, so go back and check those if you’re interested. I also have kind of a backlog of songs here, so I’m posting this one here, and I’ll post another one tomorrow? Maybe? If I remember? That one’ll have a recording too, I did that one today as well. Anyways, yeah! Enjoy! Oh also I played these chords two semitones up if that concerns anyone. Also also the note for hair and care in the bridge is A. Also also also I’m sorry the recording gets a little gross, I tried everything I swear, I think this is the best it can get.

C
I know someday you’ll just walk down the street
Am
You’ll meet some sweet girl and she’ll make you complete
F
She’ll like your t shirt and laugh at your jokes

You’ll give her your number and leave with high hopes oh she’ll

C
Dance like you taught her and talk like a prof
Am
She’ll never get loud she’ll just always be soft

Pretty funny

Ahhhh I’m sorry guys, I have massive writer’s block, and not even the acceptable kind. I can write, just not like… well. It’s sad. I wrote this today, and I like it way more than anything else I’ve written this month, so it’s going up. Also I wrote a song that I’m really really proud of recently too, so I’ll post that as soon as I can muster up the motivation to record it. Stay safe guys.

It’s so easy to laugh about, paint myself numb and dance a didn’t-you-know around a sadness I’ve learnt not to feel. It’s a joke paired with a winning smile, a little laugh, a deep breath. It’s funny, you know. It’s my life and it’s just hilarious, a quip with my reality as the punchline, a hole-in-one, a guaranteed chuckle. Don’t think too hard and it stays a joke, say that’s just how it is, isn’t it. It’s not a tragedy if you can laugh about it, it doesn’t hurt if you don’t let it. It’s funny, right?
